The run up to your wedding will probably be the most stressful weeks of your life. There's so much to organize. You'll need to hire a caterer, DJ, officiator, and photographer. You'll need to go for teeth whitening in Scarborough, do your dress fittings, arrange travel plans for relatives, get your hair done, and plan the seating chart. It can just get to be too much for one person, especially if it's a big wedding. In cases like these, you can turn to a wedding planner to take some of the weight off your shoulders.

If you're going to hire a wedding planner, do so as soon as possible - preferably just after you get engaged. The later you bring the wedding planner on board the less he or she will be able to do for you, especially since some firms that do catering in Toronto, Ontario tend to be booked up months or years in advance. When choosing a wedding planner, interview each candidate and look at the portfolio of the work they have done to see who is best qualified to give you the look that you want.

Your wedding planner will handle all of the details and most of the big stuff too, leaving you free to focus on your relationship, guest list, dress, or weight loss program. Don't worry, though, your planner is not going to choose someone to do wedding catering in Hamilton without consulting you. In fact, the planner will present you with his or her plans and allow you to make selections, substitutions, and requests as you see fit. After all, the mission of a wedding planner isn't to take control away from you, it's to give you what you want.

There are some things your wedding planner will not do for you, however. Though they will find and hire the commercial photographer in Ottawa, arrange for the catering and the music, book and decorate the hall, find the officiator, and have your wedding clothes made, you cannot expect them to deal with your family. Despite what you see in films, it's still your job to choose your wedding party and your guest list, warn your uncle Henry not to get drunk and make a scene, and ensure you still fit into your dress on the big day.

Wedding planners are not cheap, so if you're looking to be frugal with your wedding you may not be able to even get a wedding planner to take you on. If your food and beverage PR company doesn't pay you enough that you can afford a 10 to 15% planner's fee on top of the cost of your wedding, you'll have to go it alone.
